30 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE - TERRY FLYNN
30 years we ago saw one fresh faced teenager come to us looking for a job. Who'd have thought that 30 years later he would still be here running the company. If you ask Terry why he came for a position at Celtic Mowers his answer would be "To pay off my overdraft". With 2 young daughters and his wedding looming in 2018 we think he's still trying.
Terry (above left) along with Gary (above right) now run the business after it passing to the second generation of the family back in June of this year.
The co-founders Of Celtic Mowers, Kim & Sue Davies who set the business up back in 1977 have both sadly passed away over recent years, however we know that they would be delighted and extremely proud that Terry has reached this significant milestone.
Terry, who originally started as the Stores Assistant, has worked his way through the business to his current position as Company Director. During his time he has learnt all aspects of the business and now is recognised in the industry, as one of the most qualified in his field.
Terry's philosophy on taking the business forward would be "Looking to the future whilst respecting the past". Kim, who I guess you would say was Terry's mentor, has instilled in Terry significant core values on how things should be done with regards the running of the business. We know that Terry keeps these in mind each day that he unlocks the showroom door.
The team at Celtic Mowers, would like to thank Terry for his loyal service over the last 30 years and look forward to working along side him in taking the company forward into the future. Let's see where we can take it.
